Good Morning my very beautiful Kids:
Here is the quote of the day. You know what to do with it. I'm expecting to you those reflections in my email today.
After you are done with your reflection, open a Word document. Save it as "College Research".
- Open an internet page, go to http://msu.edu/
- Put the cursor on top of the Admission box
- Go through the menu and click on Prospective Students
- On that page find the section that reads "Planning and Preparation information", click on 8th - 11th Grade Students.
- Read the letter given to you.
- Now, copy the following questions on the Word document and when you are done, email the answers to Mrs. Velez.
Questions:
1. What seems to be the most interesting part of this letter?
2. Click on the link to "academic programs" (is on the letter, in green letters). On the next page, click on "view list of majors". Review the list, select five and click on each to read what it takes to have a degree in those areas. Now, write a list of the five majors you selected, and share, in one or two sentences, what is the most interesting part of the information given.
Tomorrow you will be working on this page again. Once you are done with question two, you will have some free time. Enjoy the rest of your day!
