Career Pathways
After reading the job description of each of the three careers you chose on the Michigan Career Pathways, write a reflection about your findings. To guide you in your reflection, answer the following questions: name the three careers you chose; which one was the most exciting one and why? which one has the most interesting job description and why? Can you picture yourself doing that type of job?

ReplyDeleteBuisness Manager: Ive always wanted to be a buisness man because i look up too a guy named ryan ogle and his is gonna let me work at his buisness company when i graduate form high school.
Travel agent: i dont really know what a travel agent but i would like to travel all over the world on buisness trips

Yes i can picture myslef being an actor and it is great..
Dental assistant, Animal cartaker, and computer animator. Animal cartaker was the most because you can do alot you can take car of zoo animals but only tigers and other ones or you can take horese for walks and dogs. Computer animator its intersting because you have to do all of this graphics and illions to create more effects. Then you have to brainstorm with colleges for new ideas so that was the most intersting. Yes i can picture myself doing it.
ReplyDeleteThree careers I chose was lawyer, Criminal Lawyer, Computer Engineer. The most exciting career was Computer Engineers because Computer engineers design and build computers and related components. There are two main types of computer engineers: hardware engineers and software engineers. The lawyer has the most best job description because it talks about different types of lawyers for example some lawyers work for the government and prosecute people accused of crimes. I think I can picture myself doing this type of job because this is what I go to school for to become a lawyer.

Actor-Actors interpret and perform roles for an audience using speech, gestures, and movements. Their roles may be in dramas, comedies, tragedies, suspense thrillers, or perhaps horror stories. Getting good parts, however, is a very competitive business that requires a lot of patience and determination.

ReplyDeleteAgent,bank manager,and a actor. a Actor because i like to act an like to be funny an see new places.Agent because agents get people that is well known and is a good friend to them.Yes i can picture myself doing thoes things.
ReplyDeleteAgents-i can picture my-self doing this job beacuse agents work with athletes, models, actors, writers, and many others. Also i learned that It’s an agent’s job to make sure that his or her clients earn top dollar for their services or endorsements. i leraned many more things about agents can as i read its pushing me closer to become an agent.
ReplyDeleteDentist- I know a little about dentist. I know everytime i went i feel good coming out of there office.....but i learned somethings like......Using x-rays and physical examinations, dentists diagnose dental problems such as cavities, broken or diseased teeth, and gum disease, and also This often involves delicate work, because the teeth and gums are very sensitive and damage to them can be very painful. I could picture my-self make doing they jobs but not so interesting as coaching and becoming a agent.
Coach- i think coaching is the most exciting because you work with others to show them what the sport or club about. showing skill to there interse.Coaches are also responsible for managing the team so they can be the best the can be.

The three jobs that I chose was a lawyer, business manager, actor
I chose a community worker because……..
Community workers have roles similar to social and religious workers. However, they work for different organizations and the training they receive may be slightly different. Community workers may work as social service assistants, case management aides, welfare officers, outreach workers, residential counselors, childcare workers, and gerontology aides. Their clients include people facing problems such as homelessness, substance abuse, family violence, poverty, physical disability, or mental illness.
I chose a Entrepreneur because……..
Entrepreneurs start by conducting market research. In addition to learning about the product they are planning to provide, they must also find out who is likely to buy the product or service, and who their competitors are. The next step is to set up the proposed business. In many cases, this demands a significant financial investment. Someone who wants to start a restaurant, for example, must rent or buy space and expensive kitchen equipment…….
I chose acting because……..

ReplyDeleteWell after reading the career path as a NURSE I found this job to very interesting. One thing I learned about this job is that they require more education than licensed practical nurses and usually take on a wider range of responsibilities. Also their work might also include a variety of other duties. For example, they may present health information to large groups of people, perform urgent procedures in an emergency department, manage and instruct 100 other nurses in a large teaching hospital, or teach and do research at a college.
ReplyDeleteAnother job I looked up is a CAREER COACH. This job stood out to because it said they help people get to where they want to be in their professional lives. So that means I can change some ones life there life is in my hand. Also Career coaches work in various settings, including colleges, large companies, and other organizations. Many are self-employed
I like the horse trainer not because of what they said in the job description but because I like horses
I can most likely see my self as being a nurse
Actor-I liked the actor because you might get to go to hollywood or brordway...... and you get to play in moveis like dramas, comedies, suspense thrillers, and perhaps horror stories.

ReplyDeleteChef, Actor, and a computer scientist reason why I pick these three careers are because they are some good careers. The one that is the most exciting is a Chef the reason why it is Chef it because you can cook, hire staff, and make money that is a good job. The one that has the most interesting job description is Actor because you can be a whole different person by being an Actor. Yes because I am that type of person of being a Chef, Actor, and computer scientist.
actor, artist and sports player, or video game creator i would like to be an artist because i want to make money and a sports player cause i love sports a video game creator cause i would like to create my own game , and an actor cause im smart and funny.

On the job they involved in the complex process of creating entertaining and interactive video games. tThey also tell you what type of games and how everybody is involved with them. These are the type of things i like when iam dealing with games.I think it is exciting that Video game developers may work exclusively in one area, such as programming or graphics, or they may work as freelancers and create entire games on their own.

ReplyDeleteVideo game developers: i would like to see myself doing this because i love games and i'm curious of how they make them and on the job description they show you what type of games and how everybody is involved in them.
auctioneers: i think this would be an exciting job because not only do i want to learn how to talk fast i want to know how to price items.

ReplyDeleteart dealer- sometimes i wanted to be an art dealer because you can get earn of money and you could become the famous so I kind of like art.
Tattoo artist- tattoos are great for skin because it lasts a long time and it can be a great design and its great for you that’s if you want it.
I think the most exciting job is the tattoo artist because you can make a lot of people happy by giving them what they want on their body . that makes people feel good.

the most exicting one would be home care worker because i would be able to be helping an older ill person at there own home everyday.
the most interesting job description id the home care worker because i love to help so i would help with the dressing,bathing,cleaning doing laundry and preparing meals.
Actually i can picture myself doing one of these jobs for an ill client or i could picture myself working in the hospital as an nurse or working in the hospital as an assitance.
i chose rn nurse because i like what nurses do and i also like the whole idea of helping those in need. the one that was most exciting was register nurse because ive always wanted to be a nurse and i just love helping people. the one that had the interesting job description was the hospital service workers because it keeps the hospital running because with out it its pactients would be hungry.

Fashion Designer-Creativity, glamour, trend-setting—and a lot of hard work. I want to be a fashion designer because i would love to design something i would want to wear. So i think it would be really fun And make alot of money at the same time.
Makeup Artist
Skilled makeup artists can make young people look old, old people look young, plain people look exotic, and all of the above look like aliens. its very fun and can make alot of money especially were i wanna live Los Angelas.
Website Designer
What makes a good website? If you think you know, check this career out. i love cool websites so i would love to design social networking sites!!

I choose a writer as my most exciting career because i love to write alot its like i have a passion for writing. Also u can make any thing come true to u and others just by a peice of paper an a pencil.

Auto mechanic because I like cars and how the engines run. Computer animator would be the most excited because I would be able to make my own video game. Auto mechanic is the most interesting because you get to work on different types of cars. I could see myself being computer animator because I enjoy video games the most.
