Create your Business!

Good Morning my beautiful kids, please excused me for not being there with you today, it has been a tough weekend and my body finally decided its been too much to handle. I will stay but will be checking my email to make sure you are following instructions. This week we are experimenting with different career choices. Before we get into finding a career that you would like, I thought it will be better to start off with what you are good at; lets find out what would happen if you could start your own business.

Go to this website: http://www.smbresource.com/kids-businesses.html to find a list of a possible business(s) you can create. Choose one that really seems like a good idea to you. Then open a word document and start creating:
First: Create a title for your business
Second: Go to google.com to do a research in what the job entitles.
Third: Create a list of possible customers (your family members)
Fourth: Create promotional material using Publisher. You need to create a flyer and some business cards.

When you are done with this, add the date you are thinking to start operating and a few partners you would like to invite to work with you.

Time to take all the Christmas stuff off the wall! When you are done with your work, email your word document, the flyer and the business cards to Mrs. Velez. Make sure you print a copy of your flyer and post it on the wall!
